Violet Acreage has been held by the family for many years, operating as a dryland farming and grazing enterprise just outside the small town of Yoder, Wyoming, and a few miles from Bump Sullivan Reservoir and Springer Wildlife Management Area. It is only 10 miles from Torrington, Wyoming.

Violet Acres is situated three miles west of Yoder, Wyoming, along HWY 154, and approximately 11 miles south-southwest of Torrington, Wyoming, the county seat for Goshen County.

Yoder is an unincorporated community approximately 10 miles southeast of Torrington and 60 miles from Cheyenne, with an elevation of approximately 4,000-4,500 feet.
