The farmland consists of 380 total acres and 376.80 FSA cropland acres as noted on the FSA 156. Field #5 and #8 as shown on the FSA tract map have not been farmed in recent years. Soils:
Soils on this farmland consist of 100% silt loam soils from the Calhoun, Stuttgart, Immanuel, Calloway and Tichnor series. The 3-year average crop production history has provided the following above average crop yields: Rice 187 dry bu/ac, Soybeans 50 bu/ac and Corn 191 bu/ac.
Improvements:
This farmland tract maintains (3) Submersible Electric Irrigation wells as well as an electric surface water re-lift. All of the irrigation wells and surface water re-lift are connected with underground pipelines located throughout the farmland to distribute the irrigation water to risers in each field. In addition to the irrigation improvements, the farm has a 45’ x 50’ metal shop building used for storage.
