Neosho County Habitat And Great Deer History

Nestled on the Eastern edge of Neosho County one mile from the Bourbon County line sits this wonderful mix of timber, overgrown brushy pasture, crops, and gently rolling terrain. The deer density is very high on the farm, it's common to see 30-40 deer feeding in the crop fields. For the most part due to the abundance of cover, these are deer living on the farm, not deer coming from neighboring properties from long distance with no chance of encounters during daylight. The farm offers some great views across the farm from a couple higher elevation points providing great long-range glassing and hunting opportunities. Deer sign is littered throughout the farm and hunting pressure has been extremely low. The current owner has kept the feeders full year-round and really let the deer live undisturbed for the most part. No deer were harvested from the farm in 2024 and it wasn't because there weren't great deer walking around, take a look at the pics, the owner was simply hunting other properties. Access is excellent by way of county roads on the North, East, and South boundaries.
