Property Description: 1380 acres of gently rolling ranch land located in Garza County, 12 miles east of Post, TX, on US 380. The native grass rangeland is scattered with skinnery and mesquite. Wildlife: Davis Twin Mills Ranch provides habitat for bobwhite and blue quail, whitetail deer, mule deer, turkey, wild hogs, coyotes, and bobcats, providing great hunting opportunities. Livestock: Until April 2023, the ranch was used for grazing commercial beef cattle. Fencing: The property has 3.5 miles of new fencing and an additional 3.0 miles of good fencing. The remaining 1.5 miles of fencing is in fair condition. Water Availability: The ranch is watered by wells and earth tanks. The north section, comprised of 573 acres, has water located at the Hwy 380 entrance to the ranch. Pump work is needed to tap back into the livestock-quality water supply. The south section, comprised of 814 acres, is supplied by a 240V submersible water pump that is 250' deep with 6.5' of water standing. The water is livestock-quality.
