The Chickasawhay River is approximately eight miles east of WA120 and is a very popular waterway for boating, fishing, fossil hunting. Turkey Fork Recreational area is nine miles to the south. Located in the De Soto National Forest, Turkey Fork has 240-acre lake that has a picnic area, swim areas and a boat ramp. The lake is stocked with catfish, bass, and bluegill. Recreational opportunities at Turkey Fork include fishing, water sports, camping, picnicking, and hiking.
