Hidden Hollow is a 160-acre tract located just three miles south of Allen, OK, 120 miles from McKinney, TX, 70 miles from OKC and 90 miles from Tulsa. In short, it's an ideal meeting spot if you have friends and family spread across these three metro areas. A quiet, paved county road extends to within 1 mile of the property. A gated entry and private road shared with two neighbors create a buffer between the outside world and the ranch. In addition, a 3000-acre ranch wraps around the north and east sides of the ranch providing even more privacy. Once you arrive at the ranch, you are greeted by a pleasant mixture of pastures and wooded draws. Between the food plots, meadows and grass covered pipeline, approximately 25 percent of the ranch is open. Roughly 35 acres of the property is east of the pipeline and features mature hardwoods growing on tall ridges and deep hollows with a total elevation change of 120 feet. A very nice oak savannah has been created at the southern end of this wood lot that will serve as an excellent hunting spot allowing you to look down into the deep hollows and observed deer as they work their way up and over a gentle saddle in the southwest corner. Two feeders are located on the pipeline to lure deer out of the deep draws. One of the deep draws bisects the pipeline, and if you placed a box blind near the edge of it, you would have a half mile line of sight. There are a total of eight food plots with 17 acres planted in the spring and 8 acres planted in the fall. The owner has provided us with an outstanding set of trail camera pictures showing both large numbers and excellent quality bucks, wild turkeys and wild hogs. The bucks show some nice mass and lots of points. The wild turkeys have some impressive, long beards. The hogs come in ever size and color. In short, there will be lots of wildlife to manage and hunt. There is a quarter acre pond near the entry that provides a constant source of water for wildlife. In addition, we are excited about a potential 1-to-3-acre lake site that would have some excellent submerged boulders, drop-offs, channels and rock overhangs as fish habitat. We build ponds and lakes on many of the properties we sell, and this one would certainly be a nice addition and focal point for lots of good times with family and friends. Lastly, a new set of trails has been created giving easy access to all parts of the property. The mixture of large hardwoods in the draws, transitional areas with a mixture of tall grass and thicker regrowth plus open meadows and food plots provide whitetails with a constant supply of browses during the growing season and acorns during the winter.
