Water: The highlight of the ranch is the main lake which is 250± acres when full. The lake is fed by Rosita Creek, a strong wet-weather drainage that catches a tremendous watershed during times of rainfall. A second lake is 40± acres when full and there are four other ponds scattered throughout the ranch. The water to the house is supplied by an Eagle Pass municipal water line.
Vegetation/Terrain: There is great diversity of brush species on the ranch and several different soils types. Native browse includes guajillo, guayacan, blackbrush, granjeno, whitebrush, persimmon, prickly pear, and many others. The terrain has great roll to it, offering hills with long-distance views and fertile bottomland along the creek drainages.
