Northern Wisconsin Hunting Camp Near Little Balsam Creek

This heavily timbered property is loaded with mature Aspen, Basswood, Oak, and Maple, combined with Balsam Fir, and is essentially an Island of mature timber in a sea of fresh logging jobs in the surrounding vast woods comprised of Douglas County lands. Because of all the fresh nearby logging, the food sources are plentiful, and the Deer herd is very strong in this area. Located in the St.Louis/Nemadji drainages, this area supports excellent antler growth on Whitetail Bucks as well as excellent Ruffed Grouse, Turkey, and Bear hunting opportunities. The trail cam pictures are a nice representation of 1.5 to 4.5-year-old Bucks utilizing the property. The cabin is a recent build in 2024 and features steel siding and roof and will shed the Winter snow with minimal maintenance for years to come. The building is in excellent condition. Currently, the entrance is cabled off, and the driveway is nicely graveled and recently graded. Access to the property is excellent via Big Balsam Road and the taxes are very low.
