JBH Ranch is located southwest of Sealy in Austin County, Texas. Austin County
is recognized for its exceptional livestock grazing across the native pastures and improved grasslands. Founded back in 1913 by W. E. Schier, the JBH Ranch has been in the Family and has not been offered for sale for over 112 years. The JBH Ranch and bordering ranch properties have made historic contributions to the land and the cattle industry in the United States. Good land speaks for itself.
Water and Natural Resources
The ranch is blessed with an abundant water table (Evangeline Aquifer). East Bernard Creek flows N to S through the ranch and offers live water 100% of the time. Ground water from wells also contribute to a stout natural water supply. There are 14 total wells; 7 electric wells, 2 windmills and numerous lakes and ponds.
Improvements and Cattle Operation
In addition to the public road frontage along Orange Hill Road and Oilfield Road of 1.4 miles there are exceptional interior gravel roads that access all parts of the property estimated to total 6+ miles.
