Walla Walla County Irrigated Farm

Presented is a irrigated farm about 5 miles east of Touchet, along the south side of Detour Road. This farm has a total of 286.68 acres, of which 177.84 acres are irrigated tillable, 81.40 acres are irrigated rangeland, 9.48 acres are staging area, and 17.96 acres are waste. Mud Creek runs east west through the central area of the farm. The area of the farm located south of Mud Creek is an irrigated alfalfa seed farm, whereas the area north of Mud Creek is level rangeland due to alkali soils that are not conducive to the typical crops grown in the area.
