Kings River Ranch sits in the Kings River Valley of north-central Nevada, in Humboldt County, roughly 31 miles northwest of Orovada off U.S. Highway 95. Tucked into the valley below the Bilk Creek and Montana Mountains, this fully functioning operation pairs large-scale cattle ranching with a substantial farming enterprise across approximately 22,340 deeded acres, backed by a single dedicated BLM allotment of roughly 146,138 acres. Elevations climb from 4,200 feet on the valley floor to 8,200 feet in the summer country, giving the ranch a long, efficient grazing rotation. The operation is anchored by a Black Angus reputation herd of roughly 2,500 head, run across contiguous deeded pasture and public range. What sets Kings River apart is scale paired with diversity. Roughly 6,500 acres of irrigated crop ground and 1,500 acres of irrigated meadow give the ranch a real farming component, producing more than 43,000 tons of alfalfa, corn, three-way mix, and triticale in 2025.
