This is the famed "Farm at Indian Creek" as seen on the YouTube channel the "American Land Man". And, yours truly, once owned it! It is a beautiful example of what Western Wisconsin offers. There is a 4-season "shouse" that has in-floor heat and a gas fireplace to warm yourself on a cool fall evening. The home comes almost fully furnished as you see here. The land has been farmed for wildlife using regenerative Ag techniques for many years. The seller lives out of state and was unable to manage it this fall, but the ground is now ready to produce some outstanding crops for the wildlife and offer amazing hunting opportunities to the next owner. I personally owned this farm for four seasons, and I never once sat in a deer stand without seeing at least one deer, and usually a buck. This will bring you many memories in the years to come. The timber is a mix of hardwoods, including maple and oak, with occasional white pine and birch, as well as a few other Northern Hardwood species. There is a small tamarack swamp that provides some security cover as well. The land tends to have lighter soil, but with the Regenerative Ag techniques being applied to the land, the soil has become darker due to the additional carbon absorption from almost 12 months of green, photosynthesizing plants. As soon as the spring snow melts, the farm bursts to life. It is really an amazing farm. If you are interested in a private tour, I can tell you all about it. Call Land Specialist Neil A.
