The topography is fairly level along Melrose Lane and there are number of good locations for a homesite or camp. There is a nice hardwood bottom with acorn producing oaks along the creek. Eberline Mill Creek runs across the eastern half of the parcel. There is an existing barn structure on the tract close to the road. The timber on the east side of the creek was last cut in 2008.
