The ranchs wildlife management program includes supplemental feeding, water distribution, census, selective harvest and predator control to achieve its management goals. The ranch works to maintain a deer to 6 acres with good age structure to produce mature trophy bucks.
The ranch is currently equipped with 7 high quality elevated deer stands, 7 protein feeders and 9 timed corn feeders.

Approximately 75% of the ranch consists of open pasture, ideal for grazing or cultivation, with native brush providing excellent wildlife habitat. A stock pond, known to hold water reliably, supports both livestock and game. The ranch has quality hunting for dove and quail, along with whitetail deer, turkey, and hogs, making it a versatile property for both agricultural and recreational use.
Remarks:
JF Ranch presents an opportunity to own a well balanced piece of South Texas land in a desirable location. Additional adjoining acreage is available for those looking to expand their operation or create a larger hunting property.
